Ride4Cops Fund

Ride4Cops FundRide4Cops was created by NIC CEO Harry Herington, who as a former law enforcement officer recognized the need to support the friends and families that fallen officers leave behind. During his career in law enforcement, Harry remembered the promise he made to his partners, “If something happens to me, take care of my family.” That promise continues to take place today across the country between thousands of law enforcement officers.

Ride4Cops takes Harry’s personal pledge to each State Capitol to raise awareness of the inherent dangers of law enforcement and to support survivors. Along the journey, he rides the Memorial Bike, a customized Harley-Davidson that has become a traveling memorial to our fallen heroes.

Today Ride4Cops has traveled coast-to-coast from the Statehouse in Trenton, New Jersey, to the Capitol in Honolulu, Hawaii. And, the ride continues as Ride4Cops fulfills its goal of visiting each state capital in the United States. With each ride donations are collected and remain in the local community to help the spouses, parents, siblings, and children of officers killed in the line of duty.
