Community Grants support a wide range of local projects in the areas of arts and culture, children and youth, community development, education, the environment, health, housing and human services.
Deadlines and Notifications
Organizations may apply once per calendar year.
Applications are available on our website six weeks before each grant deadline.
For Spring 2019, the deadline will be Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:59PM.
Applications may be submitted until 11:59 p.m.on the due date. However, we strongly recommend that you submit your application by 4:00 p.m. If you encounter technical problems during submission, our staff will be in the office and available to help you. Staff support is not available after 5:00 p.m. Applications that have not been successfully submitted by the deadllne will be considered ineligible.
You will be notified of our decision about six weeks after the application deadline.

Returning Organizations: If your nonprofit has applied for a DCCF grant since January, 2014, it already has an established organizational record within our online Grant Center. If you are unable to locate the established account login, please contact Lori Trenholm, our Director of Community Investment, and ask to be added to your organization’s account as a new user.
- New Organizations: If this is the first time your organization has applied for a DCCF grant since January, 2014, create a new account.
Click on the current Community Grant application. As you work on your application, you can save a draft and come back to it later.
When you come to the grant budget question, download the DCCF Grant Budget Form and complete it in Microsoft Excel. After saving it in Excel, please convert it to a PDF file and make sure it displays as one page. You will be prompted to upload the file within the application form.
Note: Your uploaded budget must display as a one page PDF. Please double check this before uploading.
Submit when your application, including all required PDF attachments, is ready for community foundation review.
