Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund Grants

The Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund supports a wide variety of local efforts to preserve and understand nature.  Projects may address the fund’s goals in scientific, cultural, educational, aesthetic or economic ways. We conduct one grant cycle each year.

Application Deadline

For Fall 2020, the deadline will be Thursday, October 1st at 5:00 PM.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN. **Applications may be submitted until 5:00 p.m.on the due date. However, we strongly recommend that you submit your application by 4:00 p.m. If you encounter technical problems during submission, our staff will be in the office and available to help you. Staff support is not available after 5:00 p.m. Applications that have not been successfully submitted by the deadllne will be considered ineligible.

Grant Information Session via Zoom

If you wish to attend this session via Zoom, please email Lori Trenholm and she will send you the Zoom link. This session will be recorded and will be available on request if you are unable to attend.
 

If you are unable to attend the session and are applying for the first time or new to the online grant applications process, please contact Lori Trenholm, Director of Community Investment, for a one-on-one session about the DCCF grant process and general grantwriting tips and best practices. Seasoned grantwriters are also welcome to contact Lori for feedback and review of the grant application *before* the application is submitted.

  • Returning Organizations: If your organization has applied for any DCCF grant since January, 2014, it already has an established account within our online Grant Center. If you are unable to locate the established account login, please contact Lori Trenholm, our Director of Community Investment and ask to be added to you organization’s account as a new user.
     
  • New Organizations: If this is the first time your organization has applied for a DCCF grant since January, 2014, create a new account.
