LAC: Expanding Online Learning Access

The Lawrence Arts Center received a $5,000 Crisis Response Fund Grant to expand online learning access to continue to provide the best in visual and performing arts opportuntities for students of all ages in our community. Thanks to the amazing faculty, staff and artists for making virtual magic happen for so many!

"Having access to virtual platforms to adapt our Summer Youth Theatre (SYT) season has been critical to staying connected with our community. We’ve been teaching classes for children ages 4-18 and our adult actors, as well. Most excitingly, we are staging our first ever Virtual SYT Variety Show with 23 students (some of which are joining from other states!). We are singing, dancing, and acting our way through summer with a little virtual help and a lot of dedication." - Amanda Pintore, Associate Director of Performing Arts and Education
