Fund Details
The Santa Fe Trail Historical Society of Douglas County (SFTHS) was created in 1967 as a tax-exempt organization to help preserve, restore, and promote historic structures in the Baldwin and Vinland areas. The organization owns and/or manages the following structures: Baldwin Santa Fe Depot, Vinland Grange Hall, Palmyra Well, Clearfield Schoolhouse, Black Jack Cabin, Signal Oak and artifacts associated with them. SFTHS also places and maintains a series of markers at historic sites in the area. We are also a chapter of Santa Fe Trail Association. The endowment will provide on-going income for upkeep of these properties.
