The Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund is now taking applications for 2017 grants. The deadline for applications is October 2.
Community foundation program officer Marilyn Hull and fund founder Beth Schultz will host an information session for grant-seekers at 4:00 p.m. on September 6 in Meeting Room A at the Lawrence Public Library.
Grants support a wide variety of local efforts to preserve and understand nature. Projects may address the fund's goals in scientific, cultural, educational, aesthetic or economic ways.
