Application Deadlines

The Fall 2020 application is now open, with a deadline of Sept. 1, at 5 p.m.

Organizations may apply (whether the grant request is funded or not) once per calendar year.

There will be a spring and fall cycle each year, and generally the deadline will be on or around February 1 and September 1 at 5:00 PM. If the first falls on a weekend, the deadline will be the next business day.

Applications are available on our website six weeks before each grant deadline. Applications may be submitted until 5:00 p.m.on the due date. However, we strongly recommend that you submit your application by 4:00 p.m. If you encounter technical problems during submission, our staff will be in the office and available to help you. Staff support is not available after 5:00 p.m. Applications that have not been successfully submitted by the deadllne will be considered ineligible.

All 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, tribal entities and local governments may apply. Work must primarily benefit residents of Douglas County, Kansas. Organizations must conduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability or national origin.

Upcoming Virtual Grant Information Sessions via Zoom
