2024 DCCF Nonprofit Organization Mid-year Grant Catalog Submission Instructions
Douglas County Community Foundation's 2024 Mid-year Nonprofit Grant Catalog is an opportunity for our donors to connect with nonprofit organizations' current needs from April to September.
Participating nonprofit organizations must have a fund with DCCF and be a registered 501(c)3.
DCCF is providing this service for 3 reasons: 1) often times our donors ask us, "what do nonprofits need RIGHT NOW?", and we want to be able to point them to your specific needs; 2) we heard from you that this is something you would like us to do, and we listened; 3) we do not have other competitive grant programs open from May through August.
*Please note, unlike our year-end Giving for Good program, we do not have a match incentive for these grant projects. You will receive an invite to an information session about Giving for Good in July. Giving for Good 2024 will be from December 3 - December 31, 2024.
How the DCCF Mid-year Grant Catalog works:
- Between March 20 and August 23, 2024, eligible nonprofit organizations can submit project requests to DCCF, and if approved, DCCF will add your grant project to our 2024 mid-year grant catalog. The catalog will be available through our donor portal to our donor-advised fund holders, and on our website, beginning April 1, 2024.
- Additionally, DCCF will provide your organization with a link to your project for distribution to your own donors so they also have an opportunity to also participate.
- We will provide you a social media marketing tile for your projects.
- We will be flexible in approving your grant request; however, as part of our due diligence and obligations to DCCF donors, approvals are at the sole discretion of DCCF. If you have any questions about a grant project you are considering, contact Lori Trenholm, Director of Community Investment before you submit your grant request to the catalog.
How to be included:
Eligible organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) and have an organization fund with the Douglas County Community Foundation.*
- Email Heather Hoy for a link to the grant request page..
- Your grant request(s) will be accepted March 20 through August 23, 2024, and eligible organizations may submit more than one request.
- You will need to send Heather a 1080x1080 photo (at least 1080 pixels wide and 1080 pixels tall). The image will be cropped to a square, so keep that in mind when choosing your photo (no pano or wide angle shots.) Use a photo that represents you project or organization well, and one you have permission to use online.
- The Catalog will open to accept donations beginning on March 20 and will close on August 31, 2024.
- Once your organization's grant project funding goal has been achieved, we will mail a grant check to your organization within 14 to 17 business days.
