Lawrence Arts Center, Early Childhood Healthy Snack and Play

From the Lawrence Arts Center 2022 DCCF LiveWell Community Wellness grant project report:

"This grant will have a lasting impact on our early childhood program. Our families appreciated the opportunity to provide snacks a few less times of the year. Several families relied on us to provide snacks when it was their child’s turn to bring snacks because it wasn’t in their budget. These children got to “shop” our snack cupboard and refrigerator and choose what they were bringing for a snack that day. The smiles on the children’s faces and the relief in the caregiver's eyes were unforgettable. Additionally, the outside and sensory exploration equipment will be used for years, impacting countless children."
